Community First Responder

  • Responding from Westbury-sub-Mendip

In my spare time, i'm a volunteer Community First Responder for South West Ambulance Service. This involves attending emergency 999 calls ahead of an ambulance response and providing reassurance to the patient and sometimes saving someone's life.

It's a rewarding and life enhancing role. I'm fully supported and trained by the Ambulance Service and it is a great way of giving something back to the local community.

Making a difference within the local community.
