The dam to the cave has broken but the entrance rift is still fairly dry. We abseiled down pulpit pitch then continued down the streamway to Stal Pitch where we rigged a ladder over the top. We then went down to Gour Hall and onto Sump 1. On the way back Michael & Jamie went under the Gours while Helen and I took the more sensible and dryer over the top approach. We then went up Plantation Streamway to the stal banks, dropped down to the stream and up into Cerbrus series, then across into Everest Passage, had a look at the columns, then Strike passage across to the Railway Tunnel to look at the Cascades and the Fingers. Hareem passage then took us to Upper traverse chamber. From here we exited the cave via the Old route, up Wire Rift and the ledge pitches. Gavin Newman and the rest of the film crew were filming at the Ledge pitches as we were on our way out.
