The plan was to do a Swinsto pull-through trip on the way up to Rescon.  We abseiled down the first pitch, but even with the fixed deviation, it still seemed very wet, and there was a lot of water going in to the long crawl.  Rich also thought it seemed wetter than he remembered.  So we decided to head-out, before we pulled the ropes down.

We then went down to Valley Entrance to have a look at the KMC main stream, which seemed fairly low.  We then carried on to the bottom of the Swinsto Main Aven.  In hindsight, we probably could have done the through-trip, but we weren't sure, and didn't want to be rescued just before RESCON!
