Standard tourist trip to sump 1. In via Everest Passage and out Railway Tunnel etc.

Rescue practise with yet another bad turnout. The rescue kit was gathered and we all headed underground. We stopped at the first chamber just below the 2nd pitch, where the drag sheet was laid out and mike chosen as a casualty to be strapped in. This was only to demonstrate the use of the drag sheet and when we started hauling mike was swopped for a tackle sack. The hauling went smoothly and a lot was learnt about different techniques. Once back to the surface we had a de-brief on the days events and headed off to the pub.
