A weekend taking some of Maplin district scouts away. This time in rods we went down the avens, nothing special but something different in this cave. After that we went down to the bottom of the cave and out.

Caving: Goatchurch Cavern (15-Sep-99)

We went in the main entrance and down into the main chamber where I decided to squeeze through the ridiculously tight third way into the water chamber, everyone else followed via the coffin slab. Once all in the water chamber everyone explored different routes off, nothing major was found. After this cave we went down to Cheddar police station so I could retrieve my stuff stolen the previous weekend.

Caving: Swildons Hole (16-Sep-99)

A normal trip in Swildon's we went in the short dry down and past the 20' pitch to sump1 everyone went through the sump and onto sump 2 where we turned around and headed out the cave via the wet way.
