Rocky boulder area. Short trip because water was rising from snow melt.
Excellent sporting cave. Lots of tight awkward bits. 3 easy going pitches once you're actually on them - this applies especially to the second pitch. Once at the bottom the main streamway that happens to feed Cheddar is excellent. A cave that must be done again even if it is quite hard wearing on the oversuit.
I took more water samples and temperature readings of both the upstream level and treasury of the aeops. This is because the upstream level has almost turned 90? and it is now possible the water is the same as the treasury level. We will soon find out. Hauled out 76 bags using the new hydraulic winch which Ivan bought over. Then J-rat and I continued digging upstream to try and get to where we were the previous week because of a roof collapse. In the end we resulted to using bang.
