A trip down to desolation row by sump 12 to re-climb Victoria Aven. After help by crispin and paul to carry kit down to sump 2 we headed inwards. Upon reaching Victoria Aven the first part was free climbed and the second part was climbed with a mixture of bolting and free climbing. We were soon both in the very tight ascending tube. It was soon decided to find out where this went and what we were to expect, so we returned from this remote location to the streamway. Its also not a good place for diving wetsuits. The return trip went without incident and while dekitting by sump 2 some WCC members offered. To carry our kit out. Note - We later found out that we were actually in the wrong place and were climbing some aven above sump 11 instead Victoria Aven.

A quick trip down to sump 2. We abseiled in via Pulpit then basically followed the tourist route. The last dam before sump 1 had been left in making for an interesting freedive to release the dam. Once at sump 2 we had a look at the dig before making an exit.
