On this trip we were let loose to go explore the system and increase our knowledge of the complex route finding. Sump 1 was reached via the stand tourist route in 15 minutes from here we went back upstream and explored By-Pass passage where we eventually found our way back to the streamway and on up to Pulpit. Lots of side passages were looked at, some better than others. We also found the by-pass down to the streamway from the mud formations near the stal banks.

A comical trip to Sump 2 where we tried to go as far as possible without getting wet. Sump 1 was obviously the limit. Which reached my staying out the water for the majority of the time. The pitches proved difficult so did some of the streamway below the 20' pitch. We also looked at the Mud Sump en-route to Sump1 but staying dry here was not an option as we had to wade through the lakes. Once through Sump1 we continued down to Sump2 before heading out.
