After our Austria expedition presentation at Bristol University for the BCRA conference we decided a trip to 'Dark cars and Sunglasses' was in order. We got back to the Belfry got changed and headed over to Eastwater. It was nice to be in a cave where the rock was smooth and the environment was of a tolerable temperature - as opposed to what we had in Austria. We went through the 'Woggle press' and past 'Cross-roads' and finally got to the climb up to 'Dark Cars'. When we got up we took lots of pictures (hopefully some will come out good) then headed back (the climb up and down the chimney was easier this time than before, when I was on a soloing trip). The descent down the 'Dark Cars' chimney was fun and then we went out via the traverses. We arrived on the surface, got changed and headed off to the Hunters. On the Sunday we did some excellent climbing/soloing in Goblin Coombe as the weather looked like it could be good.
