After carrying Joel's diving gear to the lakes for him we continued on to do the round trip and also do some digging in Mazeways. When we reached the juction with the lower series by the crystal pool we found all the buoyancy from the Green Canal pilled up hear!! We picked it all up and carried it back round to the Green Canal via the upper series. We then went on to Mazeways and as the water levels were so low Mazeways sump 1 had lots of airspace. It was now just a case of finding the dig site, which wasn't as straight forward as it seemed. Once at the dig site we did about an hour's worth of digging before CO2 build up prompte a retreat. Faster progress would be made with better digging tools i.e. a spade. We then exited the cave picking up Joel's diving gear en-route.
