As part of the development of this website I have Upgraded the Photo Gallery Software.  Hopefully you will see vast improvements in this system as well as it being a lot easier for me to maintain, upgrade and add new content.  I have also upgraded the sytem that my Caving & Diving Logbook runs on and also added some software for my running and cycling logbooks.  This has the adavantage that they can be inter-linked with the New Photo Gallery and the Reports to make Navigation easier.

Advantages of upgrading to these systems

• Photo Gallery 
• Photo Gallery is a lot easier to navigate round and should run a lot quicker.
• The Photos are all inter-linked with each other and also with the Logbooks making content easier to find.
• I can add photos directly from Microsoft Windows XP. I don't even have to open Internet Explorer to add new Photos.
• Caving Logbook
• Easily linked to the Photo Gallery.  I can also update this from my mobile phone.
• Diving Logbook
• This gets imported directly from my Diving computer (UWATEC Aladin Pro) when I connect it to the computer, which obiously makes life a lot easier.  All I then have to do is add any description or comments I want to add.
• Running / Cycling Logbook
• This gets imported from my GPS Watch (Garmin Forerunner 305).

Disadvantages of upgrading to these systems

• A number of links are now out of date.
• It will take a few weeks for the search engines to update their databases with the new links.

Photo Gallery
This is where all the photos now live.  You can add comments, rate photos, search and sort for the photos you want to see.  You can also create your own favourite picture page and then download the contents as a zip file.  It is all organised into different categories and albums so as you can view the photos by different locations throughout the World, by Name of the people in the photos, by activity type, or by the trip the photo was taken on.

Reports
Trip Reports from various expeditions around the World.  A record of photos and information for each Report.
